4 INDICATORS THAT SHOW That BUSINESS OWNERS ARE DECREASING COMPANY VALUE

Shareholders are the only source for all process, system, and commercial secrets for the success of the company.

It is very natural for the founders to know or even design all the processes of the company. However, if the know-how is not distributed to competent and skilled managers within the business, the attractiveness, and salability of the business will be damaged.

All customers and business partners trust the “shareholder”, and they want to do business with him, not with the business.

Another important issue is that the company actually means the owner of the business. The owner of the company is identified with the company, gained the trust of the stakeholders (employees, suppliers, customers), and creates value within this framework. In such a case, the leave of the said shareholder from the business will cause serious erosion in the business.

Shareholders are suffering from "Business Chaos".

Especially in the first 10 years of the business, a chaotic, exhausting, challenging, and problem-solving business approach, rather than a smooth business, may satisfy the shareholders. This attitude, which is referred to as Business Chaos, wears out the business and prevents system growth. This is nothing more than the satisfaction of saying "I am busy" for the company owner.

Company owners who spend their time and experience on the work of a low-level employee, who work at least 60 hours a week, who are busy up to their armpits, and whose to-do lists never decrease present a similar case as business chaos.

Company owners are very busy, they always face new challenges and problems. However, they can solve these problems one by one. They have an understanding that "what would happen to this company if it weren't for me". However, they do not know or do not want to know that only they can be blamed for this situation. Because they are fed with this situation.

If you see these types of signs in businesses around you, you can be sure that the owner decreases the company value.

What needs to be done is to create a business that is managed by systems independent of individuals, has clear and measured performance criteria (KPI), hires and empowers the best employees, and has a strategic perspective and focus.
